Dr. Bart van de Ven, Maxillo-Facial Surgeon
Dr. Bart van de Ven was born in the Netherlands in 1961. He studied Medicine and Dentistry in Utrecht. He was trained in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Utrecht Academic Hospital for 2 years and then in General surgery for 3 years.
This Surgeon is in very high demand and appointments with him are usually booked up weeks in advance.
He spent 8 months working in Plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Maastricht Academic Hospital before moving to the academic Hospital in Aachen, Germany. There he spent almost 2 years finishing his specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He now works as an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon and he leads the European Cleft Lip and Palate Foundation wich travels to operate children in Kenia and Vietnam twice a year.
Dr Van Der Ven is very modest about his skills and experience , however judging by the referrals we receive from other Patients they are singing his praises from the rooftops.
He is one of the official trainers for Zygomatic implants which are a new revolutionary dental implant used wheer people do not have enough bone for standard dental implants
