Browlift
A browlift is often performed together with a facelift, but can be performed on its own. It is ideal for those with forehead creases, hooding over the eyes or droopy eyebrows. Many Patients come to us for this procedure when their muscle ralxing injections no longer seem to have the same effect as they did before. As the brow drops it can give a very aging appearance to the face.
A browlift can be performed endoscopically or traditionally with incisions usually in the hairline. It is carried out under a general anaesthetic and you will remain in our hospital for one to two nights. There will be some swelling and bruising post operatively and you will need to arrange approximately ten to fourteen days off work. Following the operation the hooding effect of the brow will have been eliminated and the brow will look much smoother than before.
