DENTAL IMPLANTS

Dental implants are normally the best treatment option if replacement of missing teeth is needed. They are long-term replacements and don’t use adjacent teeth as anchors like fixed bridges. Results have been so good lately that we can now give long guarantees on our implants.

The Dental Implants allow the patient to restore normal masticatory function. They avoid progressive loss of bone because they are placed in the jaws and act as dental roots, restoring bone function.

With the IMMEDIATE LOADING technique, we can place the implant bridge within 14 days after implantation. This is always possible in the lower jaw and in selected cases in the upper jaw, when bone conditions are favourable.

For more complex cases of patients with low bone quality or quantity, we work with a computer software that enables us to predict the exact position of an implant in the jaw and to prepare the implant bridge prior to surgery . This gives a much better predictability of the success rate and allows immediate placement of the bridge.

Whats morte we are now using the amazing ZYGOMATIC dentla implants. These implants do not require bone grafting and are suitable for those without sufficient bone on the upper jaw. JAW RECONSTRUCTION FOR IMPLANTS (BONE GRAFTS)

In cases where patients want to have implants but there is not enough bone, jaw reconstruction can be performed with special bone graft techniques to achieve an optimal condition for the placement of dental implants. For example , if you do not have enough bone in the lower jaw we can take bone from another part of the body and use this to replace what is lost. Such donor areas could be the ear area, or bone taken from the hip.
